No, that’s not a misprint.

It’s just KAPUTT, presumably.

This damage is now VERTLOS, and has only the SCHROTTWERT.

“Fehlpräs” ???? How does the embossing stamp have to look like to cause something like that???

No, the coin is very badly damaged. Looks like the one side was on a band grinder with 30 grains.

Why are coins with misprints so valuable?

People with misprints, on the other hand, are often heavier in life

In fact, they are not actually valuable, except it is already a limited edition in limited numbers.
Even by smudging in the machines, it can come to deviations and then some coins sometimes deviate from others, but this is not so rare.
Is quite a rumor that keeps itself very stubborn and it is more like lay people that they have pulled very big lot with the misprint.
You see it on Ebay, etc. but no connoisseur would spend more money than the value the coin represents.
There are, however, limited special coins which are quite very valuable, since there are only a few of them, and there can then be a +.

The coin is simply damaged.
