The thread doesn't stay on the fabric?

This is a Bernina sewing machine, and the manual is nowhere to be found. I tried sewing two rather thick fabrics, comparable to denim, together. I'm using the correct needle, but it still doesn't work! HELP!

You use thick fabrics to sew, a household machine creates something very rare.

Does the machine have a button or row above the machine at the needle bar or in the compartment of the light bulb to increase the pressure of the sewing feet?

If not, try to press the scissors tip on the feet when sewing, then a loop should actually form between the upper and the lower thread.

If not, you can probably forget your project.

Insert the thread correctly, thread the upper thread correctly… short sample, then you see if it goes.

Let’s get up downstairs, turn the hand wheel off hand and see what happens. Is the bottom thread really getting out? Turns the coil, etc?

What do you mean, “don’t stay on the fabric”?

It doesn’t make a seam?

Do you have a subfilament?

If nix remains “hanging”, the lower thread is not really in or blocked.
