Is that raw? There is a simple trick to put the egg in the water and if it goes down, you can still eat it. When it floats it is bad and when it arises it is borderline.

That’s exactly what I wanted to suggest.

Yeah, that’s always written. But that’s not right. You can see how old the egg is. The older the egg is, the more liquid is evaporated by the shell. And instead there’s more air in it. That’s why the egg floats.

If the egg is kept warm, it can become bad faster (but don’t have to). If it is stored in the refrigerator, it won’t get so bad, even though it’s already swimming.

I don’t care about eggs stored in the refrigerator for 1 month above the MHD. I actually made mirror eggs yesterday, which had expired on 14.09.

Open up, smell it. You know a spoiled egg. If it was stored cool, it also stays beyond the minimum durability date.

turn and stop briefly. it continues

Hard boiled (10 minutes) in any case. Less time could be worrying. Then cut the egg after cooking into individual slices, put it on a slice of corbread and fill the whole with medium-sharp mustard. Tastes delicious!

A test.

I prefer the water test.

Egg at the bottom => all good

Egg floats => not eat

Egg => is no longer necessarily processed raw.

Hi.

Make the glass test…

Take a large glass and make it at least half full with water… Then you do the egg in… If it falls, it’s okay, it floats away…

If the “blunt side” gets up, please hit in a cup and smell it before you want to use it. The odour test then ultimately excludes.

Please don’t eat spoiled eggs, the danger of a salmonellosis is very high.

PS: the minimum durability date indicates when at least one product must be fresh ( = sales guarantee) it can also be good. Some products have a consumption date or only a production date.

All good 🍀🍀🍀

If it was in the fridge you can still eat it. The egg doesn’t know anything about the stamp on the outside and won’t get on the 6th. October have turned edible into poisonous. Eggs can be eaten some time after the MHD if you boil them or cook well.

Minimum retention date is not the date of consumption. Cooling can keep eggs out of it for a while. Open up and smell.
