In efforts to diagnose ADHD clearly and categorically, these widespread symptoms are therefore far less helpful than their adverse effects on life management. For diagnosis, it is therefore crucial whether there is also a limited functionality, quality of life or participation in everyday life.

This doesn’t have to mean “capacity” directly, but even if a person else has to fight with things, it has a negative effect on performance.

Even if it comes to the picture directly and not to the diagnosis, it is already the case that affected people are usually unable to provide services as expected by the majority society. In my personal experience, however, this does not mean that they can work less, but rather work differently and, if necessary, can not direct their focus as others.
