Delete Fallout 4 saves in the Steam cloud?

Hey everyone,

I'd like to delete my Fallout 4 save files from the Steam Cloud due to a few issues with mods, which I can probably fix by starting over. I've now reached the point where I can open Powershell using the Fallout 4 remote folder, but the problem is I don't have a remote folder for the game. To understand how I got in, I've found C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/userdata/PC ID/6-digit Fallout 4 URL. I then only have a VDF file named remotecache.vdf.

Thanks in advance for answers

Hello SOCKENALARM (lusty username by the way ^^, not badly meant),

I would like to delete my memory from Fallout 4 from the Steam Cloud for a few problems with mods that I can probably fix through a complete new start.

To do this, you need to turn off the “cloud synchro” at the settings. Just remove the check and uninstall the game. Then reinstall the game and start a new game, save and then you can reactivate the cloud.

Therefore, you have to turn off the cloud synchro so that when the game is uninstalled and uninstalled, the old game stand you’ve had to be jacked up again. Every time you install a game with your Steam account, the cloud throws your game stand at the same time, it has the advantage that you can access it anywhere.

But it’s just annoying in your example.

Moin,

with me the storage levels are in the own files!

“Eigen Files\My Games\Fallout4” …

I haven’t heard of a Steam Cloud yet…

Moin,

(a) I don’t delete play levels, but copy them to a separate folder/disk when the game is deleted in order to be able to continue playing later!

(b) Fallout4 I haven’t had to uninstall/will

(c) I’m not playing with MODs!

d) Cloud functions (e.g. at Ubisoft) go on my nerves, so I’m gonna turn them off in principle! (I have more storage than the cloud;)

(e) You can select on Steam if you want to delete only the game, or also the storage levels, setting file etc. with!

Greetings
