Delete fake Paypal account without logging in?
Hello!
My situation is a bit awkward. When I was younger, I created a PayPal account with a fake name and age, but used my primary email address. I'm 18 now and would like to have a real account with that email address, but I've forgotten the login details for my old account and can't identify myself with my ID because of the false information.
Would there be any problems or consequences if I called customer service and explained the situation? As far as I know, it's against the guidelines if you're under 18. The fake name also seems problematic.
What is the best way to proceed now?

As they decide, it will show.
Your unlawful Paypal application as a minor with fake information => that was not only a violation of the guidelines, but you even made you criminal in accordance with §269 StGB.
