Defect within the warranty?

Hi,

I bought a leather suit from Louis (in-store) a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, two screws (1-inch) on the shoulder guard came loose and fell off while I was riding. It's not a big deal; I just need two tiny screws.

When I called Louis, they said I'd probably have to send the combo in for inspection (which would then be sent to the manufacturer in Italy)..?! I know the whole process can take more than five weeks, even for such a simple matter.
Especially at this time of year, I can't live without the combo. Is there a way to get my money back and buy a new one?
I bought the station wagon at the end of April and only drove it twice.

I also want to be fair to Louis and Dainese, but if they aren't able to send me the two tiny screws, I don't see any other option.

As much as I know you have to offer the manufacturer the opportunity for a repair. Only if this is not possible can you take further steps. If you’re sure that it’s only on the 2 screws, contact the manufacturer we’re normally kulant because it would be cheaper for him. As an alternative, you can also go to a good screw dealer. A good FH (no BM) has almost all the screws there or can get them.
