1.) I only know brown/blue cables.
2.) There is no other color underneath the gray covering.
3.) I tried connecting the lamp to the gray cables once because an employee in the lighting department at the hardware store said that it doesn't matter which way you connect them with gray cables. Unfortunately, that didn't work, but thankfully, nothing else happened.

Danke für die ehrliche Antwort. Habe seit dem Einzug keine Deckenlampen und es nervt einfach. Sieht so aus, als werde ich weiterhin ohne auskommen müssen. (Der Vormieter hat netterweise nicht eine einzige Fassung drin gelassen. (Ich kenne das so nicht und habe bisher immer alte Fassungen mit einem alten Leuchtmittel für den nächsten Mieter drin gelassen.)
