Debt collection company from Amazon despite return?

I have the following problem: I returned two items to Amazon in one box. Then I received reminders saying I should pay for the items because they hadn't been returned. When I wrote to Amazon and said I returned both items, a few days later one item was credited. I wrote another email asking why only one item was credited because both were returned. Now I've received an email from a debt collection company that looks almost like it's from Amazon itself, with interest and a surcharge, saying I should pay the amount for the item by then. I still don't see why I should pay it because I've returned both items. What can I do now?

There was just a few email times where I should pay if I could not pay the follow-up costs to me but no email that it will be forwarded to a collection office that is such a snoring one should think that a company like amazon is able to assign returned items that are in an order I can also not see it from which I pay the item if I have sent back
in no case pay… they should reasonably justify why they do not accept the return… Amazon has cams everywhere… they know exactly what you sent back…

I just see that the debt collection company was not commissioned by Amazon, but a third party provider. Were both articles from this supplier?

You can keep annoying the Amazon support. Only will your problem be that you can only prove an article. Whether the second one was in the carton is neither provable for you nor comprehensible for Amazon. Each item is always sent back individually, as it partially lands in different stores or has been dispatched from different stores.

That could be that there were 2 shipments but 2x of the same item a jacket in 2 sizes was that but otherwise it was never the problem to pack that in a cardboard box
