DDR Fortuna bicycle rim rear 1-speed 47-559 26 x 1.75 HS 312?
Hello,
A friend needs a new 26-inch rim for an old Fortuna bike from the GDR era. The rim has 36 spokes and, I believe, a 19-tooth sprocket.
It is a 1-speed bike with a coaster brake.
The rim is attached with two wing screws.
Which rim can I use and is the width of the hub also important?
The rim is only this ring from which the spawns depart. The measurements you have mentioned are the tire dimensions, once after the ERTRO in millimeters and once in inches. Yes, the hub width (installation width) should already fit. The matching jaw width of the rim should be 19 to 21 millimeters.
So you're looking for a 26-inch rear wheel with resignation. (The measurements are, for example, 19-559).
Here you can watch or google shopping.
You may also find a used eBay.
Pinion doesn't cost much, shouldn't be a 19.
