I used to access my Deutschlandticket without internet, but now I have to turn on the internet to show it, otherwise I can't access my ticket. I'm using the latest version of the DB app for iPhone 11.

Actually, the tickets should also be available offline. To download the ticket to your iPhone, internet is required, but you usually do that at home.
I also see no reason why screenshot is no longer allowed. The German ticket or DB Fernvekehrstickets are issued for one person. The name is therefore defined and the document is officially valid only with a photo ID. I’ve never noticed the ID check, but that can be suspiced by the screenshot.
The digital ticket is also scanned by the controllers with a smartphone or comparable device. This also checks the authenticity and the name is read out. If the digital ticket has been designed well, there is no way to falsify. If the controllers just look at the barcode and call it “control”, they do their job wrong.
There are also tickets that rotate the barcode, so change constantly. A screenshot would be useless. When used, this barcode is already invalid.
It may also look different for local local transport tickets (e.g. daily ticket).
What specific ticket is it? Germany ticket? DB Ticket for ICE? Near traffic ticket? There may be information for offline tickets.
I haven’t noticed a moving pop-up regarding “No Screenshot”.
