Data recovery with a good program?

I would check a few hard drives to see if I could still recover data.
Because someone told me in the last post that I should just download my own.
Are there perhaps people reading this who can really recommend a program to me?
Because if I test thousands of programs now, I won't even be finished in 10 years.

It didn't work again. I just wanted to try to save a few pieces of data (pictures or videos) and when everything was loaded I always got a message saying activate your key, even if it said free data rescue software was included beforehand and several hundred euros is just a bit too much for me.
Maybe someone knows a good program that doesn't take money out of your pockets
