Data backup without NAS?
I'm looking for a simple way to back up my data. This means, in the truest sense, two hard drives that always mirror each other.
But I don't want a NAS system with a server, etc. I just need the mirroring.
It should happen automatically. That means a constant query to see if the hard drives have the same content.
Does anyone here have a simple system or solution? Maybe something like a "shopping list"?
Hi.
If your Board Raid can, simply activate second disk in and Raid1, then the same information is on both disks. For a real data backup external 2.5″ USB fixed and secure from time to time.
A RAID is not a backup.
But it’s what is described in the question…
I think RAID was the magic word. But I’m not going to my board here, but I’m going to get something done.

Hi, yeah, just where is this different from a NAS you didn’t want?
Before: Sorry, if you don’t like the answer now.
A reflection is No Data backup.
Ah, okay, my mistake (Laie) 🙂
Important is that everyone knows what I mean
