You should check the food hygiene and also the Kot/Urin.
The Kot should look solid, quite dry and dark.
The feed should be fresh dry grain feed of a wave-sittich mixture without any additives of any kind.
It should be free of fruit and vegetables, as well as neither green, nor wet or swollen.
No other feed additives!!

My people are doing this sometimes. I think that’s normal hygiene. Every cat and other animals, including birds, make themselves clean. Sometimes the plumage is a bit sticky at the place, for instance if they had diarrhea. And then they clean up again.
I’d just give your pancakes as food, no fruit, vegetables or salad. Then it should be better.
