Can my accident adjuster demand money from me?

I was in a traffic accident that was not my fault. The driver accepted the other party's fault. However, the insurance company is rejecting my report, which I don't understand.
Now we are in court.
This has been going on for months.

Even though I'm insured, the appraiser tells me I have to pay his money soon. Huh, does he have such a claim? It's all covered by insurance.

The expert has a claim against you, you hired him. You have a (possible) claim against the opposing insurance to get the money back. The expert must of course not wait until the insurance pays. Whether or when the insurance will refund you something is not the problem of the expert – finally you ordered it. What’s so beautiful: whoever orders the music pays it. I hope the insurance had previously agreed to the expert. Depending on the damage and the material situation, the insurance also likes to submit an estimate of the costs of the workshop, then there are no sensual costs for assessors. In that case, the insurance could correctly reject the cost of the expert.

It was with me that the expert went directly to the insurance company of the hurricane. So without getting involved, they had agreed and I only got the money on the account 😀

She can’t refuse your expert. Pay the expert you hired and get the money back from the insurance.
