Can I go to two different gynecologists?
I wasn't particularly happy with my current gynecologist, so I went to another one. The other one asked if I wanted to stay with the old one. I said I'd just go to the new one, but in reality, I want to keep both. Will the old gynecologist find out about this?
This is called medical hopping and, in the opinion of the health insurance companies, if a patient can be treated within one quarter with several domestic physicians or doctors of the same group without the doctors involved knowing about it.
From the point of view of the cash registers, doctor hopping constitutes an abuse of the free doctor’s choice, except in the context of a disease it is a second opinion.
However, there are no sanctions for the patient in the sense of punishment or performance limitations.
For statutory health insurance funds, doctor hopping does not increase the total remuneration paid to contract physicians, because it is budgeted. However, doctor hopping leads to a drop in the point value of the services, in other words: The contract physician receives less fees per service.
Happy for you!
I needed a second opinion. Thank you, too:)

But what should I have said? She asked if I had a FA and I can’t say I didn’t have any
