Can I ride my scooter over the Elbe bridges?

Hello everyone,

Very stupid question for the people of Hamburg or whoever else knows.

Am I allowed to ride my scooter (45 km/h) over the Elbe bridges and then directly back down to Veddel? I just read no, but that feels like an ancient post.

A friend said yes, but he wasn't entirely sure either.

Can anyone help me? I need to get over there somehow.

Or should I go around the back and over the Freeport Elbe Bridge?

Thanks in advance for the help

If I look at the “normal” vehicle rise on the Elbbrücken, I would never like to go on the idea there with a scooter that brings a maximum of 45 km/h to the clock. That would be too dangerous to me. Whether you’re allowed or not.

There is certainly another route that is less dangerous to health, for such a slow and easy to overlook vehicle as your scooter is.

I have read that the 60s zones were or will be dissolved in Hamburg. Which signs are on the way to the bridge. The minimum speed should be specified.

I don’t know the alternative route. You have to judge what is less dangerous for yourself or more confusing than the other track.

I can only say from my own driving experience that with such a slow scooter I did not want to drive on such a much-used and therefore dangerous route for scooters as the Elbbrücken are now.

Always remember that you are on a scooter without protection and are not a sheet around you, as in a car.

If there is no minimum speed, you can drive there, but at your own risk. Your decision. Good for you.

I don’t know what to talk about. Finally, if there’s an Innerorts road and corresponding ban signs would be new to me. The motorway starts only after the exit Veddel.

Hm, then make a counter-proposal to drive over the Elbbrücken with a scooter.
