Apparently, the IC is moving on this subway as RE, there are sometimes. In this case, you can take the 9 € ticket. But you better ask at the station.

That’s wrong. It is an IC that recognises all local and thus also the 9€ ticket.

True, I only read IC:D If you googulate the IC then you get a corresponding positive result.
