Can I take ibuprofen?

I went to the doctor a few weeks ago and had a blood test. It turned out that my liver values weren't the best. I was told to avoid alcohol, drugs, etc., which are known to damage the liver, for four weeks (until the 28th) to see if that could be causing my liver values. However, I'm currently experiencing extreme abdominal cramps and still have to pack because I'm moving tomorrow. Do you think I can take an IBU 400 without it affecting my values in 12 days?

You can try to reach your HA if you can’t call a pharmacy and ask if it can falsify the values and it’s okay or if they can recommend something else you can take. You know it and can best help you.

I wouldn’t take an ibuprofen. More than novalgin, but it is subject to prescription. You’d have to go to the medical emergency service and sign the list.

Such tips should not come from this (Laien-)Forum. Whether you’re doing well with damaged liver, your doctor must tell you. Not us! It will have a reason why you need to protect your liver (you have already written). It would be fatal to advise you now and here “clear, do it, is harmless.” Ask your doctor, ask in a pharmacy, ask in the emergency room….but not here!

IBU is not excreted over the liver, but over the kidneys. Nothing the hardest you should be. Just call your doctor and ask.

You shouldn’t take a paracetamol in liver damage. And no ibuprofen for kidney damage.

What if you take Buscopan? An ibu does not falsify the values
