Lothar Probst, Managing Director of the Waldshuter Tarifverbund, said in May that the Nine Euro ticket was also valid on the SBB line (S9) between Lottstetten/Jestetten and Schaffhausen. But according to the German railway, this is no longer the case.

A new demand at the Waldshuter collective agreement confirms: The Nine Euro ticket is not valid on the Lottstetten/Jestetten and Schaffhausen route.

The Nine Euro ticket is valid on the routes Schaffhausen-Thayngen-Singen-Schaffhausen-Erzingen, Singen–Badischer Bahnhof Basel, on the Wiesentalbahn (Line S6, Zell-Basel Train Station SBB) in all modes of transport; the cheap ticket does not apply on the Schaffhausen-Lottstetten and Kreuzlingen-Konstanz routes. Even inland transport in Switzerland, the ticket is not valid, as is the case in the IC trains on the route from Schaffhausen to Singen.

Addendum:

The Nine Euro ticket is valid from 9. July also between Schaffhausen and Lottstetten

The Ministry of State Transport, the Swiss association Ostwind and the SBB agreed on Friday, 1 July to a recognition of the ticket.

Of course. On 29 kilometers the DB route Singen-Basel leads through Switzerland, DB tickets in RE trains are valid.
