II. The following shall apply to travellers from Germany who are not fully vaccinated (see above) or who cannot demonstrate their vaccination status:

Travellers arriving from Germany to France need a negative PCR test not exceeding 72 hours prior to the start of the journey or an antigen test not exceeding 48 hours prior to the start of the journey. It is equivalent to proof of a recovery of COVID-19 at least 11 days, but not more than six months.

The vaccination, test or genesis status can be used by travelers in paper or digital e.g. via an entry in the French app “TousAntiCovid’or also a German app (CovPass or Corona warn app). All byEU provisionsissued digital proofs from other countries are compatible and usable for entry.

Exceptions to the test obligation shall apply to the following arrivals on land: journeys of less than 24 hours and within a radius of less than 30 km from the home; professional journeys whose urgency or frequency do not allow such tests and professional travel of persons engaged in commercial road transport. The existence of an exceptional holding must prove to travellers with appropriate documents. ”
