Cylinder getting too hot?

Hello, I have an Aprilia SX 50, and today, because my cylinder is getting very hot, I removed my thermostat, which keeps the bike cool and allows water to flow through. It's summer now, and it's 30°C outside. When I touch the cylinder on my bike, I can't even hold it for a second. Is that normal? I also have a coolant gauge; 3 out of 6 lines indicate operating temperature. I always have 4. Is that normal when it's so hot outside?

Kind regards

I can’t understand the Logig: You’re afraid that the cylinder might get too hot because you can burn your hands on it? Have you already tried this with the exhaust or a hob and came to the same conclusion?

I’d guess that the people who built the engine might have thought about cooling. So as long as the part is doing its service (and you have not done any tuning measures) it will probably fit. There are regions in this world, it’s getting hotter than 30°C and your aprilia will probably have to cope with it!

P.S.: the “people” thought about it when they provided the thermostat (which you have now expanded). I can’t imagine that it was their only goal that the engine is getting too hot (and possibly broken).

Except that the cylinder is completely ground, calcified and corroded inside in the water circuit (in the case of water cooling), and the cooling register is also massively unpreserved and cloged in the air flow passage )

@Water cycle calcifies and corrodes: Why should this happen (except it is refilled over continuous tap water and also does not pay attention to whether or what additives need to be pure). Then the cylinder temperature is probably the least problem.

@ Cooling register cloged in air flow passage: OK, mud bath taken and then no longer clean. However, it does not sound logical to expand the thermostat instead.

Water cycle calcified and corroded: Why should this happen

Ever heard of electrochemical corrosion?

besides it is refilled over continuous tap water and, in addition, does not consider whether or not additives have to be pure)

What this thesis explains.

Cooling register cloged in the air flow passage: OK, mud bath taken and then no longer clean.

Ever thought of insects and fluffy plant seeds?

Well, please don’t be so big.

If your cowwa. Advertisement at the speedometer should not be normal. Did you do something about that? So, choke away, other CDI or sports exhaust?

When the cool water indicator lights, I will make sure.

The cooling water has over 80 degrees in the rubbing state, and you know that the cylinder is hot?

Ever touched a boiler when the water cooks?

All normal – at the elbow outlet dominate around 800 degrees
