Täter ist ja klar stark negativ konnotiert. Ich habe aus der Not heraus das Wort “Handler” benutzt, was aber beschissen klingt und m. E. auch kein Wort ist, welches man im Duden finden kann. Gibt es ein Wort, was, ohne zeitlich akute Komponente (also keine substantivierte Partizipien!) eine Person bezeichnet, die Handlungen vollbracht hat, vollbringen…

They’re not verbs. Verbs are business words.

I’d say cuando’s time: ‘Dann if’. Si’s ‘if’.

Apart from the fact that there are several meanings for cuando – whether accented or without – is the difference that cuando/cuándo is used in conjunction with temporal applications when and when, while the si – without accent – is linked to conditions – e.g. if…

Difference “cuándo” and “cuando”

¿Cuándo vas a visitarme? ( = when?)

  • Aún no sé cuándo me darán permiso. (= when)
  • Cuando haga mejor tiempo. (= time “if”)

Difference “si” and “cuando”

si = (in case of indirect yes/no question and indirect response)

  • Clara me pregunta si tengo tiempo para visitarla. – Todavía no sé si tengo tiempo.
  • Hagame saber si el apartamiento tiene un balcón.

if (Conditional Conjunction / Condition)

  • Si no quieres ir al restaurante, voy a preparar unas albóndigas y una ensaladilla rusa.
  • Si no tengo dinero, no puedo ir al cine.

cuando = if/as soon as, as (temporal conjunction / two actions simultaneously)

  • Tellamaré cuando venga mi marido. (… if/as soon my husband is coming
  • Cuando vino mi marido, la comida ya estaba fría. (As my husband came…)

In principle, one uses “si” if one can replace the “if” with if one can replace “cuando” if one can replace the “if” with once.
