I've opened a small business and wanted to take care of a website for the company. Since I'm neither a programmer nor an IT specialist, I have no idea how to create a website.
Which websites/software are recommended for someone like me? (Preferably free, of course..^^)

Creating a website should not be so difficult at all, there are some modules that do not need a knowledge of programming. (WordPress, IONOS, Wix, Jimdo, …)
Hosting the website is another thing. Either you host this yourself (without knowing it will be quite difficult) or you buy a hosting package from a provider like Wix, Jimdo, Strato, … and let this host your website.
As far as I know Wix or Jimdo also have free packages, but then you only receive a subdomain (Deinname.jimdo.com and not Deinname.com).
Without experience, I have to tell you that this will take some time, no matter how you do it.

The fastest and most efficient is probably an Instagram and/or Facebook page. Completely enough for most needs. Then you buy a domain name and then forward this domain to socialmedia.
If a little money and time is taken in the hand, hold a WordPress installation. As you obviously have nothing to do with IT, it would be a challenge.
