Crackling graphics card?
Hello,
I recently built my first PC myself and installed an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super. I've noticed a slight crackling noise in the PC, which is a bit concerning. I assume it's coming from the graphics card, but I'm not 100% sure. Since this is my first PC build, I'm unsure whether this is normal or not.
The noise is so quiet that it's inaudible during normal operation. It's only noticeable when you turn off all other fans and get very close to the PC to hear it. The graphics card fans are in zero-fan mode and are not running. Attached is a YouTube link where the crackling was recorded at close range using a stand-alone microphone.
I would be very grateful for any help or advice. Could this possibly be a form of harmless coil whine?

See if you have the adapter correctly fixed and completely in it. Otherwise there’s a fire.
You can only speculate, but that’s very important! Look after that.
Also from the graphics card and from the power supply. As well as all other power cables.
Thanks for the answer.
The new 12V hpwr connections should really not be the best in this respect. But I checked it again and again during assembly and in between (and also just).
Okay, if the power connections aren’t, then it could also be a component.
That’s coil fiepen that’s normal.
You need to see if all cables are stuck
