Why are old Intel CPUs still pointlessly expensive?
Example i9 9900K from 2018 only DDR4 support, Didn't find anything new for around 100€, but 400€ for that? For example, the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X costs €144 new with comparable performance. Do these dealers seriously expect anyone to take this stuff off their hands?

Yes, thick but take the Ryzen 7700 which is at 220€ compared to the X at 290€ the significantly better choice.
Take for 1080p the 7600x3d and for 1440p the 7700 without x is full enough.
