Could someone please help me with the math on the topic of linear functions?

Thank you in advance and Merry Christmas!

Basically, you should draw an image of lines and specify the lines as linear functions in an interval.

For example, you can use a tool like GeoGebra to help.

Make sure that you are not allowed to draw lines that run perpendicularly upwards (parallel to the y-axis), since they are not assigned a linear function (if you have defined them).
(But if you still need such lines, you may be able to trick by taking lines that are very, very setile, but not quite perpendicular.)

Tree left: y = 2x – 1 in interval [1, 4.5]

Tree right: y = -2x + 17 in interval [4.5, 8]

Tree below: y = 1 in interval [1, 8]

strain left: y = 20x – 80 in interval [4, 4.05]

strain right: y = -20x + 100 in interval [4.95, 5]

strain below: y=0 in interval [4, 5]

where are the square balls?

I would see the task more rigorously and only allow one Fkt at each interval

Depending on the topic, e.g. billing, then you simply enter billing at YouTube, well then the videos come to
