Cornering light coded but headlight range adjustment failure?

Model: BMW F20 (five-door)

Year of construction: 2019

Engine: 120i – 184hp 2L

Good day,

I recently discovered while coding my vehicle (BimmerCode) that I can code cornering lights via the fog lights.

This also works perfectly by turning the steering wheel, but then I noticed that the manual headlight range adjustment, which controls the height of the headlights, is not working.

As soon as I undo the coding, this regulation works again. But then I won't have cornering lights anymore. 🙁

Does anyone know how these two things are related and why the headlight range adjustment suddenly fails when the cornering lights are activated?

The vehicle does not have a cornering light function from the factory, but this can be activated as described above and works perfectly, unfortunately with the failure of the height adjuster (wheel in the interior next to the light settings)

There are a few forums online where people have the same problem. However, I can't find a solution online. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Best regards

Both together are not provided. Normally there is the curved light only in conjunction with an automatic light-width regulation.

Perhaps it is not a problem at all, it is provided by the manufacturer. Please contact the manufacturer directly to this problem. Maybe you’ll get a free patch on a workshop.
