Copper chain thread?
Hello,
I had the Gynefix inserted seven days ago. So today I wanted to feel for the thread. I couldn't feel it, though. I'm afraid I've lost it. Has this happened to anyone else?

I started taking the pill I've been taking before about 10 days ago. Actually, I used the rest of the opened blister pack… but the pills are still in there. I started taking it on the first day of my period. Now, three days after my period, I've started experiencing some spotting, with cramping in…
Hello, I would like to make an appointment with a gynecologist for a consultation (girls' consultation). I'm not sure if every gynecologist offers this or if it's just a select group. The websites only really state whether girls' consultations are offered. So does every gynecologist offer such a consultation or only certain ones?
Hello, I have constant lower abdominal pain due to heavy periods, etc. I also spoke to my gynecologist; she prescribed me the pill, which did lighten my period, but the pain is still there. Painkillers don't really help either, because I'm only allowed to take a certain amount per day, and since I get migraines…
When did you have your first visit to the gynecologist? And approximately when should you have your first visit?
A check-up with your gynecologist would certainly give you peace of mind—of course, anything is possible, especially after heavy bleeding….
Hey, thanks for the reply. I have one in 14 days, but it's been bothering me 🙈
Verständlich.
It may depend on how short your gynecologist cut the thread when inserting it. In addition, the chain is flexible and attached to the ceiling of the uterus, which distinguishes it from an IUD.
If you “lose” the copper chain, you should actually notice it.
I once had the Gynefix myself. No, that wasn't the case.
…that you “lose” the copper chain can happen.
but relatively rare.
By the way, your gynecologist can easily check that the chain is sitting correctly, if you're worried.
You should avoid all penetrative activities for 14 days. You could have contracted an infection.
