Convince parents to skateboard?

Hey, so I want to start skateboarding and that's why I want one for my birthday. There's a small problem though… two years ago I wanted a stunt scooter. I don't know why but yeah, anyway I begged my parents for ages until I finally got one. Yeah, it cost almost €200 and I've ridden it about three times within two years… I thought it would be cooler somehow :,) And now I want a skateboard (I'm really starting this time, my friend already has one and is waiting for us to go skating together haha) but my parents don't want to make that mistake again. I'd buy one myself and I already know exactly which one but I think they're only available online and I don't have PayPal or anything so my parents will have to do it.

How should I persuade her?

PS: thanks in advance for your answers 🙂

Do you still have the stuntboard? If you don't use it, you can ask your parents if you can sell it (Ebay, Facebook or something) and then also use the money for skateboard/accessories.
