Convert 1.7cdti M32 gearbox to AF40?
Hello, I have an Opel Astra H z17dtj with 110 hp. My question is whether or how it's possible to convert from the M32 (manual transmission) to the AF40 (automatic transmission).
An Astra H 1.9cdti 120ps is already available as a butcher for the conversion.
If the conversion works, what about the TÜV and registration because of the changes?
Best regards
I don’t think it’s functioning the Z17DTJ there has never been with the automatic therefore the interface motor/gear won’t be possible in particular electrician even if you get it planted…
Why do you want the M32? Fear of an upcoming transmission damage or just a desire for an automatic?
Thank you for the commentary, but in your opinion it is skeptical, because there were up to the 1.7 all engines with the AF40 and, “AUCH, with the M32 which I also have in it and the interfaces are also available according to opcom and tech2
However, the Z17DTJ is also a completely different engine, namely an Isuzu with a completely different engine control unit.
The Z13 and Z19 are from Fiat-Opel
Hmmm can see if in the MotorTalk or someone has already made the rebuild.
I’d rather say it’s not possible.
I know that, but the recording is the same, and the 1.7cdti has been prepared for the AF40, would never be installed, so only the question whether I can get it off via opcom or tech2
I wouldn’t even try that. These old machines are not the last shrine and can actually do nothing against a gearshift for each car drive. Only with significantly more modern vehicles with corresponding electronics are they superior hand switches.
That’s not the point…
I realize I almost want to bet that it doesn’t work at the end, because something doesn’t fit, especially on the subject of vehicle papers.
Why do I ask here anyway, you always get any useless comments
