Connecting a DIY subwoofer chassis?

Hi, I want to build my own subwoofer, but I don't yet know how to connect the chassis to a Speakon connector or what I need (e.g., cables, etc.). It would be great if someone could answer this for me.

Thank you in advance

I wouldn’t trust me. There are good active subs with DSP & complete

+1-1 occupancy of the Speakons for the subwoofer operation. Actively control via an Amp with external frequency switch & at approx. 80-125 Hertz separate to top parts.

The Speakon bushings are then inserted into the housing and soldered

There’s div. Construction proposals like Jobsti

Otherwise I would recommend the SE Audio S 12 Pro. These are currently 689 €

We measured this with Smaart & measuring microphone.

High-pass filter at 36 Hertz

Low-pass filter 100 Hertz separation frequency to top parts

24 dB Linkwitz Riley Filter

Delay adapted to top parts with about 3 Ms (Milli seconds)

Phase Inverted. EQ raised by 1.5 dB at 63 Hertz

Q = Quality 1

Powercon is there. The cases are delivered to me by the sales department
