Connect TV to Sonos?

Hello, my dears 🙂

I own a PHILIPS 55OLED707/12 OLED TV (flat, 55 inches / 139 cm, UHD 4K, SMART TV, Ambilight, Android TVâ„¢ 11 (R)) TV and would like to connect it to my new Sonos speakers so that I can experience Netflix and co. with great sound.

Sonos said it wasn't a problem, but is this now a problem or am I doing something wrong?

I decided to do this specifically so that I wouldn't have to deal with a huge tangle of cables anymore and so that I could sell all of my Apple Pods that were scattered around the apartment.

How can I implement this?

I have the following:

PHILIPS 55OLED707/12 OLED TV (Flat, 55 inch / 139 cm, UHD 4K, SMART TV, Ambilight, Android TVâ„¢ 11 (R))

Sonos Home Theater Completion Set

  • Sonos SUB Minu
  • Sonos Era 100 (2x)

Hopefully it is feasible

Thank you in advance

Best regards !

Take the with it, then it should work. This is intended for connection to HDMI-ARC that has the Philips. It does not have an analog audio output that could be connected to one of the Era 100.

Right. HDMI cable from the TV (must be at the Philips HDMI 2, eARC, but should be labeled) into the HDMI-In the soundbar. The sound bar is integrated into the Sonos network, then you can also let the TV sound be replayed via the two Era 100 and the Sub.

This would have to go over the optical entrance of the Ray. If you can order this thing, then you have fourteen days right of return and can test it.

Needs a Sonos soundbar, which is connected via HDMI-ARC, optical or emergency via headphone output.
Sub and Era can’t do that

the sound bar needed for 5.1 cinema sound, because sub (bas) and 2 era 100 ( Stereo front currently, later with sound bar front as 2x rear / rear) are not enough.
