Connect iPad 9 to USB mouse, USB keyboard and HDMI at the same time?

Hello,

I'm not really socialized with Apple.

My daughter has a school iPad (9th generation, iOS 18). While these devices are nice, working on them is a nightmare, as you can't create long texts with the virtual keyboard.

We're now thinking about giving her a laptop.

Alternatively, we already have a USB mouse, USB keyboard, and HDMI monitor from our old stock. Ideally, we would connect them to the iPad. Then we would have everything we need for Excel, texts, email, and the like.

I just can't find a suitable hub to connect the iPad to.

Am I too stupid, or is this not possible at all?

Thank you and best regards

It’s not that simple, but it goes. Apple gives help: https://support.apple.com/de-de/guide/ipadf1276cde/ipados

With iPad with Lightning connection, however, no hub or USB device works.

A Bluetooth keyboard definitely goes (I often do) as it looks with a Bluetooth mouse, I cannot say.

it must be a Mac mouse with USB-C connection and the keyboard has nothing to be complicated, as goes a small Bluetooth keyboard (approx. 30€)
