Connect HDD externally?

I have 2 HDDs that have another connection next to the 2 SATA connections.

They don't work if I just connect a USB to SATA adapter. So I wanted to ask what these ports are called and whether I can buy an adapter for them.

The top one is a normal HDD, for comparison.

These are not usable connections.

….

Besides the SATA, of course, you need the power supply, otherwise it does not work.

Large HDD ( 3.5″) are operated with 12 V, small HDD (2.5″) with 5V .

USB only delivers 5V.

No. Via SATA only comes the data line. …. You have a SATA data line and a SATA power line. Both are separate.

The smaller one is data line, the larger the power supply
