Connect cables only with insulating tape?

(It's about a cable for a motorcycle control unit)

Is it okay to temporarily connect a cable with just insulation tape? Normally, you're supposed to solder, but as long as there's contact, it's fine, right?

The cable is loosened by vibrations and malfunctions occur.

This may work in telephone lines or the like with rigid wires.

At Litze you can forget that. It is necessary to use soldering or suitable clamps.

That’s puff. In each building market you get such cutting clamps:

WAGO clamps (the with levers) would also hold.
