Computer won't start?
Hello, my cobbled-together computer won't start, but the motherboard lights up. All cables are connected, including the 8-pin and 6-pin cables to the power supply, but I haven't connected the 4-pin cable. Could that be the problem?
-Asus Rog Strix B650e-f
-AMD 9 Ryzen 79503d processor
-Corsair h100x water cooler
-Corsair RM850X power supply
-2x 32GB DDR5 RAM
-Radeon 7900xtx graphics card (is attached but not connected to the power supply)
Thanks in advance
Why should he start if the graphics aren't on the power? What's the point? Put it on and run.
Fans etc should spin even if no graphics inne is you expert
I know. I asked why he should start without graphics. That's why the point is asking. Why start a pc without graphics if I don't see anything. You expert.
OK. That seems not to me (yet). Diagnosis small status would be helpful contextπ π
Asked if the motherboard diagnosis has lamp, but the expert does not answer.
That's what I would have recommended.
Then he should check the status leds what the ads are provided which are installed. Check all the cables, if necessary plug and reconnect, try again. Take out some ram or trade bank. Maybe one of them is defective and blocks the start
In addition, the 7950x3d ne integrated gpu should have a picture too
To see if he starts
Your PC can't work properly because you can see nicely on the picture that the power connections on the graphics card are not connected.
Close this and repeat your process.
I've done that for a long time….
So problem done. Before asking a question, it would also be helpful for the questioner to control everything important.
I already see 3x 8 pin plugs on the graphics card that are not plugged in.
As I said, trzdm should start booting at least, but there is nothing at all, the power supply does not even move
Well, booting should be more than jumping and remember what's wrong.
so he's not going on, nothing?
2x control power to mainboard,
Power supply switch check,
Power switch connected to mainboard?
Thanks it worked!
what is it?
