Computer problem. Why "Permission denied"?

I am connected to my PC at home and the PC at my workplace via a line that uses our telephone cable.
Today, I can't get on the line; every time I click "Connect," the connection progresses to 45%, and then the message "Permission denied" appears.
Shutting down and restarting the computer doesn't help.
The PC specialist at my workplace is on vacation and unavailable.
And my PC is relatively new.
What else can I try?

The PC specialist of my job has vacation, is not accessible.

You’ll have a vacation until the guy’s back. Company is even guilty if they have only a single ITler for this, and that is on vacation…FortiClient, as you mean, is absolute garbage. Everyone who used this, thinks it’s super often.

And I can say that from my own experience with a previous employer…so a Rotz VPN
