Win version 10 home 22h2

Computer no longer goes to Windowsupdate?

Hello, a friend has recently made a Nvidea update 572.16 on 30 .01

Can happen with a significantly higher probability than if you simply let the Windows update install the WHQL drivers that Microsoft has looked over again in terms of compatibility.

Therefore, before driver updates that do not run through the Windows update, IMMER should set a backup or at least a recovery point.

Please try to start in Safe Mode and manually remove all drivers of this chart.
Then reboot and wait a bit until Windows has installed the current WHQL drivers.

Manual driver updates are not necessary for AMD or nVidia graphics cards.

Beautiful meaningless actionism with which you most likely have lame the whole board.
After all, you don’t even seem to be able to call the UEFI anymore.
Although you’re just too slow due to the quick start function. 😉

From the device to a PC technician. The motherboard should hardly be scraped.

You can assume that the driver is spinning around here or that the install has NOT been done properly.

At Nvidea there is the hook that you can make a (so-called) reinstall, and you should always do that.

In your case, please remove and restart DDU Download, Start and Nvidia Driver from the system.
Then you should reinstall the latest one, that should help.

Then by jumper on the motherboard, force a biosresett.

Hi.

Then 1x the BIOS battery out, then the quick start is gone, then start in safe mode and throw the driver out.

I would like to ask you to describe the current situation much more precisely.

Either the computer still works, shows a picture a few seconds after pressing the power button and the user can also get to the BIOS via the keys F2, DEL or ENTF.

(you can press the PAUSE button shortly after switching on and stop PC booting before Windows boot)

If not, then it is important to take the manual to help open the housing and see if and which of the Debug LED’s on the motherboard may display a hardware error.

But it is even better if you have (even today in the Blinki, Blinki RGB times) connected a small motherboard speaker to the motherboard to get possible hardware errors based on the List of BIOS signal tones (Wikipedia)

So if the PC itself still function properly, you could, for example, extend the POST delay time in the BIOS in order to have “more time” after pressing the power button, get to the BIOS and/or also disable the quick start function.

Then from a Windows 10 Setup USB stick boot and first try to use the repair options (e.g. fix Windows startup problems).

I am not on site

If you should be on site again…

Turn off PC, check the correct plug seat in graphics card and monitor and turn on again.

Just a second after pressing the power button on the PC, start tapping the ENTF, DEL or F2 keys in a second.
With ENTF you come to BIOS for almost all motherboard manufacturers.

Open the housing and run a BIOS Reset by search: Reset mainboard to factory settings)

If the PC still does not output a video signal on the monitor, then there is probably a hardware defect.
