Computer freezes during startup and won't boot?
Hello,
I've had my computer for about a year now, and everything's been running smoothly. But suddenly, the PC freezes on a screen during boot-up (see attachment). I don't know what the problem is or what to do about it, and I'd appreciate some suggestions.
If I press the start button for a long time I get to a menu (see attachment) but I have already tried the suggestions and it didn't help.
Don’t worry, it sounds more complicated than it is! The BIOS is like the basic setting of your PC, and sometimes there is something and then the computer strikes.
We can easily reset this:
The PC then restarts and should run normally again!
I pressed “standart settings loading” and then “yes” at “load optimized defaults”. It’s still not working.
I don’t know if I might have done something wrong because I came to the menu with F2 but I don’t think it’s up to me. Do you have any more ideas? Nevertheless many thanks for the respectful and very detailed answer
Unfortunately, it didn’t work.
Have you tried to plug the hard drive completely and then connect it again?
Sometimes it helps to re-establish the connections to fix possible contact problems.
I’ll try it tomorrow and then I’ll let you know. I think this is going to be a bit more complicated
reset the bios easy.
look as if you wanted to overclock the cpu clocks
I honestly have no idea what this means 😅 can you explain to me what I did wrong and how I can fix that?
there are two ways I know to boot again.
1 away, I think the simplest. The mainboard has a small battery. if you take this out for 10 sec, the bios and all mainboard setting will be reset to standard.
2 bios flashed with the latest drivers you get on the mainboard hesteller page. there are many!
