Compressed password?

Hello, I just received a notification that my password has been compressed. My question isn't what that means or anything. My question is, the account is called "apple.com," but I've never seen the password or username for this account. Can someone please tell me what kind of Apple account this is?

you will probably find entries on this page for your email address:

https://haveibeenpwned.com/

When you get there, your access data has been used to an online service using a hack where the password was used.

Say, your access data has been sold or published somewhere and you should change the PW in all accounts where it was used. And activate 2FA if possible.

Simply install a password manager such as KeepassXC or Bitwarden and change your password to a coincidence generated.

From KeepassXC, I’d be here for the first time, as the FS apparently doesn’t have so much attention from the topic. Keepass is safe, but only locally and offline, if the smartphone is carved/capped or lost, all accesses are also gone.
Without a reasonable backup strategy, a shot into your own leg.

This means that your password has been cracked or appears in a Darknet Leak.

Please change your password (12+ characters, special characters, shorts, numbers, no words and birth data) and activate strong TFA(2FA)/MFA. Please avoid SMS and email TFA as they are considered insecure.

In addition, check your accounts on unusual activities and deia devices on malware.

Your question is not particularly clear. “apple.com” is not an account but a URL.

Do you have an Apple device? If not, you can forget the hint, it’s spam.

If you have an Apple device, you should know which account data you use there.

Not compressed, but compromised. This means that your password has been read out illegally somewhere on the Internet.

Changing your passwords for online access now would be a very good idea. You should also think about MFA/two-factor authentication.
