Complaint Case

Hello, I bought a trolley last year. It has a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.

On a trip, after a flight in the hotel, I discovered that one of the wheels had broken off. As I still needed a suitcase, I had to buy a new one.

Is there any way I can claim this from the manufacturer?

Even if your trolley was restricted in its comfort by the broken wheel, you still had a baggage where you could store your stuff. The manufacturer will certainly consider and reject your idea as disproportionate. You can only call on his cunning.

The manufacturer doesn’t accept anything. You need to report this to the airline within 14 days. Then you have to go to a specialist store and let you confirm the damage there. After that you get the damage replaced by the airline, but don’t pay for the new suitcases. The manufacturer will simply claim that this happened during loading or flight. I speak from experience, had the same problem in 2010. With the compensation by the flying solo chat also takes a long time.
