Cold sores?
Hello everyone, I went to the doctor yesterday because I have a small lump under the outside of my lip and a white band a little further up. There are also small white dots on my upper lip. It's slightly translucent. He thinks it's a cold sore and prescribed me ointment. But I haven't had any other symptoms so far. We're on day three after discovering this change on my lip, and I've been applying the cream since yesterday. Does anyone else experience this? I'm honestly scared of it because I also suffer from a skin condition and have small children. One of them is also very susceptible to infections. Perhaps you could share your experiences with me and whether you suspect herpes. Best wishes.
