Cola tastes rotten despite valid best before date?

Have a good meal.

About a week ago I bought two 1.5L bottles of Coke and stored them in a cool, dry place. However, when I opened a fresh one today, I noticed straight away after the first sip that it tasted different, and after a few more sips it was confirmed to me that there was something wrong with the Coke.

I find it strange and unusual because I drank cans of Coke yesterday and you know what Coke tastes like, but the bottle is rotten and musty despite it still having a long expiration date and doesn't taste like Coke should taste, I opened the second one too

to see if that was the case and there was exactly the same problem, the two bottles were packed together in a carrier.

I just don't understand why the two bottles weren't opened despite being stored safely…

tastes so rotten what could be the reason for this does anyone know?
Cola shouldn't actually taste like that.

They both taste so bad, should I throw them away or keep them and complain to Coca Cola?

No idea if that was a production problem.

I would be interested because it's not normal.

It would be possible to go back where you bought it. The store may take it back.
But here's important that you don't tip the Cola away. A shop is much more willing to take something back when they see that the bottle is open and something lacks the bottle but is not completely empty.
A ticket would not be bad if you always shop in the store and know the staff is not necessary. Not at an amount of about 5€.
If you don't have the (half) bottle or expect a ticket, but you don't really get anything.

You can write Cola yourself, but don't expect too much. The one that will refund you the purchase price is extremely unlikely. Since it is easier to exchange account data for such a small amount. Maybe you'll get a promotional gift sent to you if this is the other thing.

Some bottles of transport damage are certainly known. You don't have to tell them.

It's not worth going to the store. It's not much money. You don't have to be a ticket. Just help. If the store doesn't want it, he doesn't even do it with cash registers.

No I don't know, but on CocaCola.de try to find a contact email address.

Possibly, contamination is the reason for spoiling the bottles. I'd give her a complaint to the dealer if you're interested in the effort.

Just pour and finish.

that something is wrong with the Cola.

That's true: Cola hasn't tasted like before (you know why); That's why I almost only order overseas from our American friends.
