Codas?

Hello everyone!

I'm writing my final year thesis about Codas and what it's like to grow up with deaf parents and be hearing myself. I'm looking for Codas who would be willing to do a short interview with me. Unfortunately, I don't know any Codas myself and am being referred from organization to organization. Are you Codas or do you know someone?

Thank you very much,

Aline

You can find Kodas at the next university location with DGS /ÖGS / maybe DSGS or the interpreters. Here in the forum it would be a lucky hit.

But the subject is not chosen beautifully. Whether you have deaf parents, or your parents do not really make a difference. My neighbours cannot be German after half a century. I think it’s good who’s doing overtime at the construction site or going to clean the whole day can have some time for the family.

But the problems of children (my friends) are the same.

The only difference is Coda, unlike my neighbours, have an identity-finding phase. Only in all likenesses, you can’t build on it.

Addendum: have added it to ÖGS, Matura sounds more like Austria.
