I recently bought this plant; I think it's some kind of yucca. Hey, I don't know much about plants, hence the question.
Anyway, it has a strange reference at the top? (See pictures) I have no idea if that's part of the plant or some kind of fungus, parasite, or whatever.
Does anyone know anything about this?

This is wax at the interfaces. So that the plant does not fault but remains healthy.
You cut off a branch from a plant, seal one end with wax (so that the branch cannot dry out and under it can “heal”), put the other in water or earth and thus you win what you have acquired. All right?
