yes they are very strict, even in bars etc I always had to show my ID (and I don’t look so young actually). both in cities (paris/nizza) and on the land (board agne in hennebont) they control all

also you get in most first from 18 alcohol (also wine etc)

If you are going to france for the first time, I can highly recommend that you also deal with behavioral flossals, even if we would never think about Germans because they have pretty bad money. zb when the train controller sees you with feet on the seat directly 60€ and they don’t let them talk (I saw so much with others). and generally black driving or something like this can be forgotten in France. they control everything, often and accurately.

I don’t want to fear you, I had a wonderful time every time, I only experienced such negative examples live with others 🙂

You should not violate laws abroad, especially if you are underage. Otherwise, the owl is great again when Mom and Dad are allowed to dance to the gendarmerie in France.
