Hi everyone, I took off the variator cover on my scooter, and everything was horribly sooty. Unfortunately, my brake cleaner was empty, so I used a steam cleaner to clean it off. Did I break something, or will it be okay if I regrease the gears, etc., afterward? Can I just use WD-40 to regrease them, or what do you recommend? Best regards 😄

This on the picture is the mechanics of your kickstarter. This does not have to be oiled/luged. If you clean up here, it’s enough to blow up with compressed air.
WD40 is, by the way, not really suitable as a lubricant.
