Chopped?

Hello,

I received an email from my own school email address in which the "hacker" tried to convince me that he had all the information about me and that I should transfer him €500 so that this information would not be spread.

Should I be seriously worried or can I just ignore the email and ask my school to change the password for my school email?

Thank you in advance for any answer

Is the password the right one? If so, you should not only inform your school as soon as possible, but also best make all your devices clear, replace and then exchange your passwords anywhere and, if possible, use 2FA (two factor authentication).

Oh, my God.

Here alone the question was answered thousands of times, no one has accessed that is simply a mail sent to millions of people every day it is always the same word sound, even to people who have no cam by the way

if from 100000 only 10 numbers have already won these scams.

You should take a closer look and read better before you write. The questioner has weakened a password in the message from the supposed hacker.

If this is the real password, then at least the account has been hacked.

That’s not a joke.

You’re really not helping anymore ey…..

These are any passwords from cracked databases…. precisely that is why it is pointed out to use a different password everywhere to young padawan………..

There’s the damn password of the mail account. If that’s true, you have to react.

What’s wrong with you?

I know the mail. I got into the company and private.

Delete and forget. It’s just one of those annoying spam mails that want to rip you off.

The old lair again….

This mail has been sent millions of times per year

Delete, block, end, that’s just garbage

Nobody has access to your devices

Don’t listen to him. Apparently, he didn’t even really read the news from the hacker. Is the password what the hacker sent you? If so, you have to react as soon as possible.

Believe what you want, I’m not going to spend an hour training on IT security.

There’s the fucking password of the mail account. If that’s true, you have to react. You’re giving all the wrong tips and you should shut up.

In your text from the consumer center itself, you have to react and exchange all passwords and check bank connections.

So you haven’t read the question or your own sources correctly.
