Choose a smaller or larger frame size?

I'm looking for a gravel bike (road bike) and have now decided on one. I want a women's bike from Cube. The question is: size M (56 cm) or S (53 cm). According to my measurements, I'm right in between (approximately 55 cm). Should I go smaller or larger? Inseam: 82 cm, height 173/174 cm

Rule of thumb: if in doubt, always choose the smaller one.

The seat post is upwards to compensate.

The horizontal position of the saddle allows for adjustment to sit forward or backward.

If you take a larger size you will be more stretched out on the bike, if you take a smaller size you will sit more upright and be more agile.

Simply test drive both frames and then decide
